Bereavement Coaching for Corporate & Leadership
One survey by the New York Life Foundation (2022) found that 68% of respondents agreed or strongly agreed with the idea that additional professional development regarding grieving and bereavement practices was necessary within their organization. Let me help you make this a reality.
The best gifts are planned. I can help you to organize your personal effects, communications, and memories to be passed on to those who will most appreciate them.

Death Doula Support with Kim
I have been an educator for the past 24 years, and earned my doctoral degree from Creighton University in 2024, with a research focus on organizational support of the bereaved.
Following the sudden loss of my mother in 2021, I recognized the power of relationship in grief, and soon accepted that my mission would be to improve how we approach death, dying and supporting those who are grieving.
I am a trained death doula, trained by Deathwives in the winter of 2024. I volunteer with a local nonprofit organization dedicated to providing expert support for those grieving, working with small groups and co-facilitating a book club focused on processing grief through fiction and non-fiction text. I believe in supporting anyone in need and openly partner with people of all backgrounds. We are all going to die, we are all likely to grieve…ALL are welcome here!
Where Tomorrow Mourning Serves
St. Charles, Illinois. Chicago. And virtually across the country and around the world.
I provide bedside and in-person death doula support in and around the Chicago suburbs. For corporate bereavement coaching and all speaking engagements, I am available to travel throughout the country.
All services can be provided virtually.
Q&A
Answers to your frequently asked questions are close at hand…
-
Death doulas are non-medical, holistically trained guides that support individuals and their families at the end of life. They are often thought of in conjunction with, but never replacing, a hospice care team.
-
As your death doula, I offer a wide variety of services customized to your unique needs. Your care package could include planning your ideal end of life, educating you on the road ahead, and/or grief support for what comes next. Please reach out to discuss your situation and together, we’ll collaborate on a care plan that meets you where you are.
-
Absolutely! Your first consultation call is always free. You are more than welcome to bring any questions to me to discuss.
-
Hospice teams are only brought in when a doctor determines that someone has six months or less to live. While this care is sacred and so very needed, the six month restriction means there are often other parts of the dying experience - such as planning far in advance, or grief support long after the death -that goes unattended to. Doulas, however, are unbound by time constraints, and can work with a client whenever the client is ready to begin.
-
First, we’ll have a consultation call to determine your needs and how I can best support you.
Next, if we are a good fit for each other, I’ll send you an agreement to sign that outlines my scope of services, your care package, and payment details.
After the paperwork is signed and payments are received, we’ll begin the scope of doula care as outlined in our agreement.
-
I can create an educational presentation centered around an end-of-life topic of your choice.
End-of-Life support. Bereavement care & coaching. Keynote speaking events. Whatever you need, reach out to discuss your unique situation.
After just one session you’ll feel more comfortable knowing that at the end of your life your family’s focus will be on sharing memories and celebrating you.
